Cordless Drill

The Bosch PS130-2A is my new cordless drill and I simply love it!

I have a very good Dewalt hammer drill that I’ve been using for 3 years now( no complaints) except for the weight(about 5.5). I was looking around for a while to get a light weight 12 volt cordless drill but was reluctant to get one because of the “lack of power” that is usually typical for the smaller drills.

Finally I got this Bosch PS130 a few months ago after checking it out and reading reviews on the web.

This is exactly the drill I was looking for!

The tool has great power for all the jobs I need at home, feels great in my hand, great trigger control, easy direction control switch movement, Very small and compact!
The battery holds a nice charge, LED works great , and a really useful feature is the battery gauge indicator that lets you know how much use time you have.

Initially when I got it I didn’t expect much of the Hammer drill feature but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out while drilling holes in my garage brick wall while installing an automatic garage door.

If you do bigger jobs around the house (deck installing etc..) I would still go with the 18v drills for prolonged battery life and extra power!

This drill is a bit more expensive than competitors but I think it is well worth the price.

If the price was a bit cheaper I would give it a 5 star!

I recommend this cordless drill to all homeowners
and give it a score of 4.5 –4.5star
